CNEX is dedicated to the education, promotion, and talent cultivation of documentary filmmaking. For six consecutive years, the CNEX Taipei Foundation has organized the New Taipei City Documentary Award submissions and continues to select outstanding films to participate in the CCDF Pitch Conference. This initiative helps Taiwanese documentary filmmakers connect with international television stations or foundations, facilitating opportunities for creative and distribution exchanges and potential collaborations on an international level.<\/p>\n

In 2022, CNEX managed the Taiwan Pitch project under the guidance of the Ministry of Culture. This project not only encourages local Taiwanese filmmakers to create their own stories but also aims to attract international creative talents from various fields and professional backgrounds to Taiwan through invitations and open call.\u00a0 <\/span>All completed works are available on TaiwanPlus.<\/p>\n

For 15 consecutive years, CNEX has organized the “CNEX Chinese Doc Forum” (CCDF), CCDF is a platform for the documentary film industry that adopts the pitching session model commonly seen in international documentary film festivals. It aims to facilitate communication between Chinese documentary filmmakers and international television networks or funds, fostering creative collaboration and potential distribution opportunities. Since 2010, CNEX has been selecting proposals from submitted works each year and inviting internationally renowned documentary industry professionals to participate in the forum. Past participants have included representatives from Sundance in the USA, Sunny Side of the Doc in France, BBC in the UK, Arte in France, NDR\/ARD in Germany, DR TV in Denmark, NHK in Japan, Hot Docs in Canada, Asia-Pacific Discovery, National Geographic Channel, Sheffield in the UK, Phoenix Television, Tencent, iQIYI, Youku, Public Television Service (PTS), Daai TV, and other television stations and film festivals. To date, the selected proposals have successfully engaged in transactions with international channels or buyers.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
